Visions and Ideas

Hey Everyone! Welcome to our fancy new forum!
The idea behind this was to have a place where we can talk about stuff and share ideas (and get us off facebook!) outside of our physical meetings (this is especially good for anyone who's missed a meeting and wants to know whats going on).
Etienne, Asher and I had a wee discussion earlier this evening (in Etienne's meticulously constructed cuddle puddle) about where we're at which is basically-
we're trying to show some initiative to Etienne's folks to show to them that we're serious about starting something or other on their land. They are away until the end of this month so we're going to try to have another working bee (a bunch of us went up last weekend and had a jolly and time and managed a couple of hours work moving rocks) in the next couple of weeks so that when Etiennes parents get back we'll have done some stuff and they'll be all overjoyed and happy.
Next part of the plan is to discuss setting up some sort of written agreement with the landowners detailing somehting along the lines of : they're not going to sell the property out of the blue (so that all our hard efforts and dreams and hopes and whatnot dont get thrown out the window) and in return we're going to generally maintain bits of the property (roads, dams etc), basically a somewhat legal writeup to give both parties some security.

In order to do that we need to formulate a vision! and put it in words! So this thread is going to be a bit of a brainstorm/place to share what we want to see happen in our community.

Hey guys
so although there have been those who have dispelling and loosing faith in the vision, there are others that realise that the potential of what is to happen on this property. 2 weeks ago we had a meeting , just with me , ella and ettiene. What was said that is we need about another 10 hours work on the cabin, then we will meet with the parents, discuss boundraries and logistics , then we gather as a group to formulate and consoladate collective visions and dynamics and then we activate through the physical actions.
so we need about 10 people to go up to the property for 2 days to get things done?
who can go up and when?

does anyone have anything to add?
there is a growing interest in this.......
